Scientists discovered a new planet in a nearby star system that they think has more water than Earth. It is called Nu2 Lupi d. It doesn’t roll off the tongue like Tattooine.
This planet was discovered by accident when scientists were observing three other planets orbiting the Nu2 Lupi. The d planet popped up unexpectedly. It is said to orbit a sun-like star and have mild temperatures.
Don’t expect to move there if we mess up our own planet. It is 50 light-years away and scientists think that the water may either be ice or hot water vapor.
